The city of Calgary is hoping for sunshine tomorrow to help bail them out of flooded streets.

Corus Reporter, Aurelio Perri says downtown Calgary is flooded with very little access to the core.

He says the area where the Calgary Stampede is supposed to be held in two weeks is completely under water.

"They vow to clean-up and get it done but right now the area is filled with water.  The Saddledome where the Calgary Flames play apparently that has water in there that's probably up to eight rows of seating."

Perri says weather forcasts call for sunshine tomorrow, which should help the water recede.

He says the Bow River, which runs through downtown Calgary, is flowing at five times its normal rate.
