An evacuation order in Elkford, BC has been rescinded, and an evacuation alert has been declared in its place.
Officials say the Elk River continues to recede, but more rain may increase the flow.
They're telling people to stay away from the Elk River, and Boivin Creek, and to stay off roads and trails north of town.
The District is maintaining the state of local emergency, declared on Thursday.
