The latest popularity numbers for premiers across the country show a much different picture for B.C. than last quarter.
Shachi Kurl with pollster Angus Reid says when they talked to voters in April before the provincial election, Premier Christy Clark showed just a 25-per-cent approval rating.
That’s now jumped to 45 per cent.
"She's made this quantum leap to second from the top – second only to (Saskatchewan Premier) Brad Wall, who has this mythic reputation in terms of his approval rating so this is significant for her.”
Kurl says another notable gain is for BC Green Leader Jane Sterk, who also doesn't have a seat in the house like the premier. She has an approval rating of 43 per cent.
NDP leader Adrian Dix is at 35 per cent.
