A mother and son needed a helicopter rescue after getting lost during a hike this afternoon.
Michael Coyle with the Coquitlam Search and Rescue Team says they got a call around 4:00.
"They needed help to find two lost hikers in the Lindsay Lake area on Eagle Ridge near Coquitlam. The hikers called for help themselves and they used their cell phone to report their location so we had some coordinates."
Coyle says the pair were scared but uninjured.
