The BC Ambulance Service says a man was airlifted to Royal Columbian Hospital early this morning after he was impaled by a tree branch.
It happened in the 8500 block of Sylvester Road in Mission just after midnight when the man apparently fell from a large tree.
The ambulance service says it was a horrific call.
It is not clear why he was in the tree, or what is his current condition.
