A two-day disciplinary review of a Vancouver police officer who shoved a disabled woman in the Downtown Eastside three years ago starts Tuesday.
Last summer, B.C.'s police complaints commissioner requested a formal hearing for Const. Taylor Robinson, after rejecting an internal disciplinary decision to suspend him for one day.
He was caught on video pushing Sandy Davidsen when she stumbled into his path on a sidewalk in June 2010.
An assault charge against Robinson, who's no longer assigned to that neighbourhood, was stayed.
An out of court settlement was reached earlier this year, ending Davidsen's civil action and killing her complaint to the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal.
This week's closed hearing is slated to wrap up Wednesday, with results expected to be made public later this month.
