A rhinceros at the Greater Vancouver Zoo has died.
Staff are reporting "Charlie" was euthanized today, because he was struggling while eating and drinking.
A necropsy determined his teeth had worn out, so he couldn't chew his food properly and as a result, his esophagus was blocked.
The 46-year old was transferred from a game farm in the Okanagan in 1988.
