More charges have been laid against two Transit Police officers, accused of assaulting a man at the Granville SkyTrain station.
Constables Alfred Wong and Bruce Shipley face charges of breach of trust, fabrication of evidence and public mishchief, following a review of the incident by Vancouver Police.
The new charges are on top of assault counts laid nearly a year ago.
Transit Police spokesperson Anne Drennan says the two are still on the payroll.
"They are performing non-operation duties that do not include the court process."
It's alleged the pair assaulted and pepper sprayed a 27-year old man outside the SkyTrain station in February of last year.
