Skinny dipping enthusiasts and naturists are teaming up in South Surrey to help break North America’s skinny dipping record.
How many bare bums does it take to break the record?
Don Pitcairn with Surrey United Naturists says the previous record stands at around 13,000 across North America.
He says his group will do its part, with 50 to 100 people expected to shed their swimsuits down at Crescent Rock Naturist Beach at 1 p.m.
"If you've never tried it before, it's actually quite invigorating. Imagine going in the bath wearing clothes – well, why sunbathe with clothes on when you wouldn't bathe normally with clothes on?"
Pitcairn says everyone is invited, but only those who get fully nude count toward the record.
