Ridge Meadows RCMP are looking for two men after a Mountie was shot at early this morning.
The officer approached the men, who were in the ditch, and when they fled on foot, he hopped in his car.
It was then one of the men pulled a gun and shot toward the officer in his car.
"We do need witness accounts, we do need people to come forward. Even something that might be linked before or after that may be related to this incident so we're really relying on some public help for this very brazen act of violence."
Corporal Alanna Dunlop says the two men are described as dark skinned.
They were wearing dark hoodies as well.
The incident happened in the 25800 block of Spilsbury road.
