Police want to hear from anyone who can shed more light on the death of 31-year-old Cory Monteith, one of the stars of "Glee".
But Sgt. Randy Fincham with the VPD stresses they need specifics, not celebrity sightings.
"Certainly. If there's people out there that have relevant information, as to what may have happened...of course the police would like to know that. General sightings of him out and about in the public, him being a celebrity; I'm sure there's a number of people that have seen him out in the last couple of days: that's not necessarily the specific information we're looking for."
Monteith was found dead in a downtown Vancouver hotel on the weekend.
He had a history of drug addiction.
The BC Coroners Service says no obvious cause of death for Monteith.
An autopsy and toxicology testing will now be performed.
