A man arrested in the deaths of two women on Vancouver Island has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in both cases.
25 year old William Elliott from Duncan is set to be in court December 16th to 20th for sentencing.
Neil Mackenzie with crown counsel says he will automatically get a life sentence.
"What will be determined in the sentence proceeding is what his parole ineligibility period will be. Crown will be seeking an order that he have no eligibility for parole for 25 years."
RCMP and Search and Rescue began looking for 18 year old Tyeshia Jones after she went missing in the early morning hours of January 22, 2011.
Her body was found one week later.
The burnt remains of 42 year old Karrie-Ann Stone were found in Glenora the summer before.
