Another stabbing today, this time in Nanaimo.
RCMP are searching for a suspect after two men in their twenties were stabbed early this morning.
Police found the two men around 3:30 during a patrol near Albert Street and Victoria Crescent.
The men were attacked by two men who approached them for a cigarette.
After an argument, one of the male assailants produced a knife.
The victims were taken to hospital in stable condition.
Constable Kate Mooney says a 21-year old Nanaimo man has been arrested.
The other suspect, also 21-years old, is still at large although police do not believe he is a danger to the public.
