North Shore Search and Rescue Team says its third attempt in retrieving the gear left on cypress mountain weeks ago has been successful.
Team leader Tim Jones says the task was not easy but he's thankful for the kind weather conditions.
"It was found the area of 3,000 feet on the other side of black mountain, where we originally cashed it for the rescue of Sebastien Boucher," Jones explained.
It took a team of 12 rescuers to locate the $30,000 worth of gear.
