The Tseil-Wauthuth First Nation is disappointed but not suprised at the announcement that Kinder Morgan's pipeline expansion proposal has grown.
Council member Carleen Thomas says the announcement begs the question, where will it end?
What will Kinder Morgan be asking for next?
"Will there be dredging under the Second Narrows Bridge to make room for the super tankers that will have to come through to transport oil out."
Kinder Morgan says it has signed up 13 canadian companies that want to send oil through the pipeline.
As a result, the proposed capacity has gone up by almost 20 percent -- from 750-thousand barrels each day to 890-thousand.
If approved, the Trans Mountain Pipeline would run from Alberta to Burnaby.
