BC'S Justice Minister is dismissing a call for her to resign that comes from a fellow Liberal MLA.
Shirley Bond called Kash Heed's statements "unfortunate", but says she and fellow Pat Bell have both been cleared by the Fairness Commissioner.
"Well lets be clear nothing wrong has been done. There is not an RCMP situation there are no allegations that are being dealt with by any other body and lets be clear the fairness advisor said the procurement process was fair. Kash Heed's circumstance was entirely different than the one that is being discussed here."
When it was pointed out one of the developers who bid on the wood innovation centre contract doesn't agree with her, Bond is refusing to get into it.
"Well I'm not going to comment. You know Mr. Fehr expected there to be special treatment for him and that didn't happen, so I think what we're talking about here is a business person who wanted special treatment and didn't get it."
The developers, Brian Fehr and Dan McLaren, filed a complaint over the fairness of the project last year.
