The BC Human Rights Tribunal has handed a woman nine thousand dollars after determining she was fired for being pregnant.
The tribunal found no substance to Planet Group Realty's excuse they fired Kamalpreet Dhillon because she was a bad employee.
Dhillon was turfed in April after telling her boss she was pregnant the month before.
The tribunal awarded Dhillion six thousand dollars for the embarassment and another three for lost wages.
The company has been warned never to let it happen again.
