Self-proclaimed "Prince of Pot," Marc Emery is once again, hoping to be transferred to a prison in Canada to serve out the rest of his sentence.
Marc's wife, Jodie says he has applied to the US Government -- his application should be recieved by next week, and they should know the answer by next month.
"And then the Canadian federal government makes their decision and his application has already been received by the Canadian federal government, I have done an interview with Corrections Canada pertaining to that."
Marc applied for transfer two years ago, but was rejected.
Jodie says if both governments agree to the transfer, he could be back in this country shortly before Christmas.
She says he's finished most of his time served under Canadian rules, so he is likely eligible to be released almost immediately after he gets home.
Marc was sentenced -- in September 2010 -- to five years for selling seeds by mail and phone order.
