It may be a key message for the BC Liberals in the election campaign that begins one week Tuesday, strong economy, secure tomorrow. That was the key message Premier Christy Clark tried to deliver at a fundraising dinner in Vancouver Monday night. Clark mocked NDP Leader Adrian Dix for recently telling forest industry executives that they were entitled to a, "reasonable profit."
"Because while he believes in a reasonable profit, I believe in profit. I think if you've worked hard to earn that money, you should take it home with you."
Clark also made fun of a key NDP slogan, saying they made BC a have-not Province back in the 1990's, "one practical step at a time."
