Vancouver's annual Vaisakhi parade is set to take over the southeastern part of the city today.
Tens of thousands of people are expected at the popular event, which celebrates a major Sikh holiday.
Several major roads will be closed for much of the day.
The parade winds between Main and Ross Streets, east to west, and Southeast Marine Drive to East 49th Avenue north to south.
The roads will be closed between about 10:00 a.m. and 5 p.m.
