The BC Liberals say the NDP would slap a two year moratorium on natural gas exploration.
But New Democrat leader Adrian Dix says that's not so.
NDP Cariboo-Chilcotin candidate Charlie Wyse has been captured on tape saying the two year "hold" on fracking is a done deal, so there can be a scientific investigation into the impact it has on the water table.
NDP leader Adrian Dix says that's not so.
"We do support a review, we are concerned about issues around water use and we will conduct that should we be elected, based on the science."
While that review is underway, the fracking would continue.
Dix also confirmed today an NDP government would reverse a Liberal government decision to shut down BC's Therapeutics Initiative.
