It's been six months since a mother was killed by a hit and run driver... just metres from her East Vancouver door step.
Police are still asking for tips toward solving the case.
42-year old Leonida Tumanda was Vancouver's 19th traffic death of 2012.
She was on her way home from work the night of December 2nd when she was mowed down at the intersection of Prince Edward and East 43rd.
Constable Brian Montague says investigators remain on the case.
"We're hoping that if there's anybody out there that has information and if they haven't told the police yet, we'd really appreciate them giving us a phone call."
Shortly after the crash, the victim's husband pleaded for financial support to provide daycare for both his daughters.
