We should know the results of a tight three-way election race in Saanich-North-and-the-Islands in a few days’ time.
Saanich North saw New Democrat Gary Holman win by just 52 votes over Liberal Stephen P. Roberts and Green candidate Adam Olsen just 387 votes back.
Elections BC will recount all those ballots today, and then tally a reported 2,500 absentee ballots. Results are not expected before tomorrow or Wednesday.
The riding was the closest result on election night, but five others could potentially see a change including Coquitlam-Maillardville, where Liberal Steve Kim beat New Democrat Selina Mae Robinson by just 105 votes on May 14.
One thing that won't change – the Liberal majority.
