Unusual suspect to blame for damaged North Van vehcile

West Vancouver police say a resident of the 500 block of Craigmohr Road has a hefty repair bill after her car was vandilized over night -- but not by your usual suspects.
 
The car had the mirrors torn off, significant dents in the doors and the roof and both driver and passenger doors were bent and pulled partly open.  But the suspect left a few tell tale marks as well --  extensive paw and claw marks.
 
Police say a bear is the culprit, and add that, even though the vehicle owner says there was no food inside -- an empty food wrapper or the smelll of damp seats can be enough to lure one of the big beasts to try and get inside.
