People in the B.C. Interior are keeping a close eye on the rivers today.
The river forecast centre has posted high streamflow advisories for waterways in much of the rain-soaked region.
At this stage, no major flooding is expected, but it's possible in low-lying areas.
Vernon set a rainfall record yesterday, recording nearly 18 millimetres of rain – nearly double the old record.
Meanwhile, Highway 31 is closed in two locations north of Kaslo because of separate overnight mudslides.
