Many Mount Pleasant residents getting a look at the revised proposal for a high rise development in their community say they aren't any happier this time around.
At an open house Thursday evening Tim Agg, who's lived in the area for 30 years, says sticking a 22 storey monstrosity in the middle of it could change all of that.
And he says his larger worry is this development would be the start of a slippery slope, "I am particularly concerned that once this one's in we're going to see other applications for similar exceptions to the community plan or working around the community plan."
Agg says what he would like to see is how the city plans on increasing density right across the city, in particular on the west side, as it seems all density plans are for east of Cambie.
The Rize development is proposed for north of Broadway between Main and Kingsway.
