A military helicopter had to be called in early this morning to rescue two women on Nelson Island on the Sunshine Coast.
They had fallen from a balcony.
Paramedics had to call in extra help because the road access to the home was limited and the beach terrain was difficult.
The Cormorant helicopter arrived from CFB Comox and flew the pair to hospital in stable condition.
