Small business confidence in B.C. remains steady this month over last.
Mike Klassen with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business says according to a new report by the group, B.C. rates fifth in the country.
"But with the return of the PST, B.C. becomes a high tax outlier and it's just more expensive to run your business in B.C. than it is in other parts of the country. So making some changes and fixing the PST over the long term is something that we'll probably try to talk to the government about."
Klassen says small businesses are expressing concerns about tax burden and regulatory issues.
